I love laying down in bed with white sheets. But honestly, i don't have a plain white bed sheets. I bet it's gonna be a tough thing for laundry. But in hotels, i love it clean white and oh the white curtain here is nice.

This is one of the accommodations offered at Saddle Ridge Camp in Dahilayan Adventure Zone, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Sa mga mahilig mag adventure, ang parke o liwasan na ito ay para sa inyo. Di naman ako masyadong adbenturer pero na enjoy pa rin ako dito dahil sa mga magaganda na tanawin.

Kung ang nasa litrato na ito ay hilig nyo bisitahin nyo ang Dahilayan Adventure Zone na matatagpuan sa Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Halos lahat na tao pupunta dito ay mag "zip-lining". Kung tanungin nyo ako kung nakazipline ba ako, ang aking sagot ay "oo" pero hindi ang "superman" style. Nag enjoy din akong mag zipline na naka upo. Kaso lang wala akong kasabay dahil sa timbang ko hindi pwede tig-dadalawa. =) Merong isang kasama na nag komento na "na miss ko raw kalahati na ng aking buhay" dahil di ako nag superman zip -- sabi ko, no problem. Meron pang next time.

Alam ko dapat ko lang tinalo ang aking takot pero alam ko rin na yong sitting down style pa lang ang kakayanin ko. Meron kasi akong fear of heights. Si KC Conception merong fear of heights din pero alam kung ginawa nya lahat ang mga adventures na nasa litrato. Eh hindi naman ako si KC eh. Magka iba iba ang tao. Mabuti nalang ang timbang ko ay qualified pa sa required na timbang -kaya nag zip din ako. Alam ko walang nabawas sa aking buhay dahil naka pag zip pa rin naman ako.

Kumusta kaya ang iyong timbang? Papasok ka ba sa kailangan na timbang para kay maka zip?

LP - Kalye

Noong isang Linggo, kami ng aking anak ay bumisita ng ilang lugar sa cyudad ng Cebu. Pagkatapos nga aming almusal, ang una namin na pinuntahan ay ang templo ng mga Insik (Toaist Temple) sa banda Beverly Hills.

Maganda ang kalye paakyat sa lugar. Di ko inakala na medyo akyatin pala ang lugar. Simula pagbaba namin ng sasakyan, dapat na kaming umakyat sa kalye na ito patungo sa entrance ng templo.

Hindi na kami umabot sa layo nyan kaya minsan inisip ko kung maganda ba doon sa may unahan. Di ko naman nakita noong umakyat na kami sa pinakataas ng level ng templo.

Hindi magulo ang kalye masarap sya na lugar para mag ehersisyo.

Minsan ako ay nagtaka kung bakit napakablue ang swimming pool at ang tubig ay spring water or tap water lang. Pero nalaman ko rin na ito ay naging blue dahil ang pool ay pinintahan ng kulay bughaw.

Ang aking lahok ay isa sa mga pools ng Timoga Spring Pools. Binisita namin ang lugar noong meron kaming bisita na galing Luzon. Hindi kami naligo. Tumingin lang sila sa lugar at nagpa-picture. Pinili nila yong pool na napakalayo sa kalsada. Okey lang sana kung hindi mataas na lugar kaya di na ako sumama sa grupo papunta sa Olympic size na Mimar's pool.

Ang nasa isip ko tapos ko makita ang tema ay "siya." Iyong tinatawag nga "The one who got away." Mga ala-ala ko sa kanya ay magdulot ng ngiti sa aking labi at magdulot din ng kurot sa aking dibdib. Di ko mai detalye kung paano natuloyan ang paghiwalay ng aming landas dahil meron sana mga panahon na pwede ko sya puntahan at pwede rin nya akong hanapin dahil nakatira lang kami sa isang lugar na may di kalayoan ang distansya. Iyan ang dahilan kung bakit ko say tinag ng "the one who got away" kasi pwede sana kaming mag effort na hanapin ang isa't isa.

Sa ngayon inisip ko pa rin kung bakit di ko nagawa sumakay ng bus papunta ng Cavite. Bakit di ko sya hinanap ng malapit kami magkatagpo sa dietary ng Manila Sanitarium and Hospital. Sabi noong nakakita, minuto lang daw ang ligas ng umalis sya at saka man ako dumating.

Labing-tatlong taon na ang nakalipas, di na kami muling nag-usap tungkol sa aming mga pangarap o mga plano. Pero siguro isang araw mangyari din yan. Di ako nawalan ng pag-asa. Isa yan sa mga importante ko na pangarap na mangyari para meron din akong "closure" nam tawag nila.

Ako'y nag-asawa at kahit hiwalay na di pa naman legal. Siya ay nag-asawa na rin noong isang taon lang. Pareho na kaming hindi na pwede sa isa't isa pero positibo ako na magkita pa kami isang araw at kwento namin ang buhay na aming pinalagpas na sana naging kami pa rin at masaya nag-sama sama kasama ng aming anak.

Bago ako tuluyan malungkot, heto ang mga litrato na mag nag mag representar sa tao na aking na alala ngayon.

Maligayang Huwebes sa lahat!

Maligayang Kaarawan din sa mga may kaarawan ngayon na araw.

Noong maliit pa ang aking anak na babae, inisip nya pag makakita sya ng ballon merong may kaarawan. Akala nya nya na pag merong magdiwang ng kaarawan merong ballon. Siguro yon ang nakita nya sa kanyang sariling birthday celebration.

Ako naman, ang kaarawan ng isang bata ay napakasaya at makulay. Dahil sa mga makulay na ballons, makulay na palaruan, makulay ng mga gamit pang selebrasyon.

Heto ang aking pamangkin noong ika una nya na kaarawan. Ang bilis nga panahon dahil sa sunod na buwan maging 2 years old na siya.

Heto ang kanyang cake.

Pinaalala ng aking kapatid sa akin na birthday na naman ni Gab sa March 9 at ang ibig sabihin ng paalala ay donation na cake o maghanap ng mag donate nga cake. wehehhe! Buti pa sila merong mag donate. lol!

Day 6
December 25, 2010

It was Friday and Christmas day. We did not leave the island. It was a relaxing day and a nice afternoon. Around 4 pm, I decided that Dimple and I should go swimming. She did not but agreed that she will go along with me.

I put on my pink two piece swimsuit. Char! Yeah u read me right, i put on my two piece but swam at the curve of the island where not much people can see me. The only ones that can see me is my daughter, the stray young lads, and possibly if someone looks down on us from the plane, he or she can see a whale clad in something pink. lol!

Whatever! I had a swim.

3. I really got scared of these guys, but i befriended them. Still so young to start smoking. :(

LP - Paboritong Laruan

Sa edad ko ngayon wala na akong paboritong laruan na kagaya sa linalaro ng mga maliliit na mga bata. Kaya ang litrato na lahok ko ay isang simbolo sa isang paborito kung ginagawa o siguro ito ang pinaka paborito ko na ginagawa kahit anong oras ng araw. Pag ako nag lilitrato para na rin akong naglalaro ng aking pinakapaborito na laruan.

Nasa bag ko palagi ang aking kamera (ang una ay Olympus stylus at simula noong September 2010 nabiyayaan ako ng Canon IXUS i20). Parang ang lahat ko na makita sa aking paligid ay photo object. Kung ako ay titingala andyan ang pinakamalawak na langit. I am a sky lover (any hue)kaya siguro 1/2 sa aking mga saved photos ay mga litrato ng ulap/langit. Kung ako ay titingin sa baba, merong mga maliit na bagay na minsan di na napapansin ng mga tao at nakikita ko yon at kinukuhaan ko ng litrato. Sabi ng iba kung kaibigan baliw daw ako kikukuan mga pangit or walang kwenta na bagay.

No! Sa akin, lahat na bagay ay pwede kuhaan ng litrato. kahit munting bato pwede na. Itong nasa lahok ko ay isang miniature na mushroom sa isang hardin na napabayaan na. I think this is a macro shot.

The day before Christmas day. We just stayed in the resort. First whole day at the resort. It was so relaxing. I had the time to test the waters, too!

We arrived at La Estrella the night before and this is the official first day in the resort. It's nice to woke up to a beautiful view of the sky and the lush of green provided by the trees and plants all over the place.

We are going to the mainland again today but before taking the boat, i had the chance to take some sky photos.

We went down to the mainland today to pick some supplies at BQ Mall at the same time drop off a guest at Bohol Tropics.

4. A glimpse of the sky while looking up at Bohol Tropic's facade. I think BT is the biggest resort hotel in the island.

The boat docked at a bit past 7 am and we just walk the little distance from Pier 4 to Pier 3. I was so happy to know that we were able to catch up the 8:30 trip and the trip will to Tubigon, Bohol will last for 3 hours.

Started with a trip from Iligan City by bus and boarded Super Ferry 12 in Cagayan de Oro City that left the Puntod Pier at 10:30 in the evening.

Ang litrato na ito ay kuha ko noong huling araw ng October ng gabi. Gusto ko magpractice paano gamitin ang long shutter ng camera. Di lang ako, pati rin yong mga kasamahan ko. Kaya para magandang ilaw ang kuha namin, lumabas kami ng Paseo del Mar at pumasok kami ng Lantaka Hotel para makunan ang magandang ilaw ng Paseo del Mar. Di kaya pwede pumasok dun kung di kumain kaya ang mga long shutter trial shots namin ay napakamahal. :)

Paulit ulit akong kumuha gamit ang feature at di talaga maganda ang kuha dahil di ko mahanap kung saan e adjust ang aperture at wala akong tripod. Kaya yan ang resulta ng walang tripod. Ang mga ilaw ay naging makulay na multo na lumalakad sa gitna ng dagat. :)

Btw, ang litrato na yan ay SOOC (straight out from the camera) at resize ko lang ng kunti para ma upload ko dito.

Ito ay fresh lumpia at snack namin ito noong MBS 4 sa Zamboanga City. Masarap ang sauce pero ang laman di masyado. Masarap ang sauce pero hindi sya masyadong malapot pero napakasarap. Dahil ito ay masarap kunti lang ibinigay. Kulang lang para sa isang malaki na fresh lumpia.

Ang mga litrato na lahok ko ngayon ay magbigay sa inyo ng sulyap kung ano ang itsura at laman sa bagong pribado (private) na kuarto sa Mindanao Sanitarium at Hospital. Ito ay makita sa ikatlong palapag ng Annex building.

Isa ito sa mga yellow rooms. I think the best room especially at dusk. Sa isang kuarto ay merong dalawang kama, telepono, TV na merong cable connection, a visitor's bench and center table, at ref. Oh merong din syang CR. :) Feel ko hotel room na sya. Lahat na kuarto ay airconditioned. Sa ngayon ang rate ng isang kuarto ay 2,100.00 sa isang araw. Mahal pero comportable naman.

Maligayang Huwebes sa lahat! Ang bilis ng panahon at ito naman ang pinakahuli na Huwebes sa buwan ng Oktobre.

Ang aking lahok sa araw na ito ay isang layer ng chocolate cake ni Dobbie. Dahil birthday niya, binisita sya ng kanyang mama noong Sunday at dinalhan siya ng cake at lechon manok. Dinagdagan niya ang lechon at inimbita nya lahat roommates niya at ung mga former roommates niya na nakatira na sa labas, at ilan sa mga kaibigan nya na mga lalakwe. Sa aming kusina sila kumain kaya naimbita din kami ni Mam Jaydee.

Ang cake na ito ay kinain sa pinakahuli na banda. Dahil maliit lang ang cake pero lahat ay nakakain ng manipis na slice. Just enough to taste the sweetness.

Isa ito sa mga litrato na kung aking sinusulyap ay makafeel ako ng guilt dahil ito ang panahon na iniwan ko siya at lumakbay ako sa ibang lugar para magtrabaho para siya ay mabuhay. Tanda ko pa na pagkatanggap ko sa mga litrato padala ng LBC ako ay umiyak na parang ang aking dibdib ay sumabog.

It was a painful experience leaving her at my mom's care. Not that i don't trust my mom but babyhood times should have been spent with me.

Iniwan ko sya noong di pa siya ng dalawang buwan at nagkita kaming dalawa ulit noong anim na buwan na siya.

Kung tanungin nila ako kung ano ang gusto ko kainin sa oras na ito - sabihin ko talaga ALL OF THE ABOVE! Pero kung dalawa lang ang pwede na choices so CHICn'fILLET at ang CRISPY FRIES. Pwede dalawang serving ng fries?

Pero alam ko naman na kahit anong wish ko nito ay di matupad dahil walang KFC outlet dito sa lugar namin. Kung gustuhin ko talaga gagastos muna akong ng 200 hundred pesos pamasahe para makain ko ang burger and frice na yan.

Hmm lalo na akong nagugutom habang ginagawa ko ang post na ito.

Dapat bawat tao ay matuto mag recycle. Dapat tayo ay maging disiplina sa pag manage ng ating mga basura sa ikabubuti ng ating kalisan.

Ang litrato na ito ay kuha sa underground ng NPC at kahit wala masyado tao dun kailangan pa rin na ang mga basura nila kung meron man ay naka segregate sa dapat na lalagyan.

Kung ganun sa mga kompanya o opisina natin, dapat yan din ang gawin sa mga bahay natin. Kung ang tao ay talagang disiplinado - kahit saan man sya magpunta di diciplinado pa rin sya.

One way to show to the community that you are a discipline person, you have to learn how to do recycling. We should be responsible people even in the disposal of our garbage. This is one way to help conserve our mother earth.

Hindi ko sila kilala. Hindi rin nila kami kilala. Pero sila ay lumalapit sa amin habang kami ay nag eenjoy sa aming nakita habang nakatayo sa Overview (situated between Bukidnon and Davao boundary). Hindi ko na maalala kung ano ang aming pinag-usapan pero ako ay sigurado na tinanong ko sila kung pwede ko ba sila kunan ng litrato. Nagbigay sila ng oo at sabi ko "smile" at hayan ang binigay nila na ngiti para sa isang estranghero na katulad ko.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTO ~~

I had this photo taken while me and companions were enjoying the view seen while standing at the Overview deck located at the boundary of Davao and Bukidnon.

These girls were natives of the place and they are used to coming near to tourists when tourists drop by. I cannot remember what we were talking about but i was sure that i asked them if i can take their photo. They nod for yes and that's the smile and look they gave for a stranger.

While browsing for the right photo for the theme this week - i thought of this and looking closely now, i can caption the photo with the "EAGERNESS AND APPREHENSION." Check out their smiles. The smiling girl i bet was looking at my other companion who is also making a shot at them. Maybe she's thinking id have to smile nicely for him because he is carrying a big thing. (Sir Bob was carrying a DSLR while i only had a point and shoot one) lol!

Hong Kong Noodles

Someone brought me to a noodle house last Thursday evening for dinner. Right away i craved for chinese food but they don't have much of it (the choices of menu) except for this dish they call - Hong Kong Noodles.

Oh well, the place (TNT) is cute and cozy but that noodle food is not something dying for. I'd rather have the Nova or the Potato Rings. :)

I woke up with a terrible headache after a long nap. I had no choice but to have some for pain or else i can't go out to buy flowers for my mom, my aunt who is celebrating her birthday, and also for my sis, who is also a mom. I also brought some fruits and some foods for mom. I dropped by at home just to say some "mother's day" greetings.

For the past months, i took me sometime to get out of bed at 5;30 in the morning to ring the buzzer and go out to each rooms of the girls to wake them up for worship. But for the past weeks, i discovered that at 5:35 to 5:45, the sunrise looks so inspiring that i look up to that every morning.

Soon we will move out of this place and move to the old dormitory and surely i will miss the great sunset and sunrise view from the 4th floor of the Annex Building.

61/365 - Orange Ball

One morning, while there was no electric power, i looked out of the window and this is what i saw. They orange beauties group together in a ball. I wonder if they were also feeling the heat or they were in a meeting but it is good to see them like that. I thought all of them were orange but as they did that, i discovered that one of them is black in color but have a lil paint of orange on its fin. :-)

Ang signage ay nakatali sa gate or else ang mga bata kagaya ng anak ko ay papasok for the sake of their curiousity. Dahil di siya makapasok, kinuhaan nalang niya ng litrato. :)

Ito naman ay kuha ko sa KCC Mall sa General Santos City noong 2008. Sya ay isang K9 at nagbabantay ng mga masamang elemento gamit ang kanyang ilong. (sniffing dog). Sa tingin ko ay aso ay pagod or di kaya inaantok. Di nga rin sya mukhang masaya siguro dahil sya ay merong chain na nakatali sa kanyang leeg.

I know it rained last night but i never thought it would last the whole night. When i went around to wake up the girls for worship, i took sometime to go out the side door to breath the fresh air and this is what i saw - a mist of white clouds in the further hillside. Oh i wish it was around the building. It made me miss my dear MVC.

Oh let me add, i've got only a month more to enjoy the sky scene in this area because the girls dormitory will be moved to the old location.

59/365 - Welcome OS - International

They are around again for the 6th time. The last time was in 2004, so we are so happy and honored they have come again to serve those who need cleft lip and cleft palate repair.

They will be here for a week. Their pre-op area is in the third floor of the Annex building and the post-op are is on the 5th floor. The third floor is not yet inaugurated but it was opened to these patients.

I am going to miss this spot soon as the dormitory will move back to the old location. Although i can see the same sky everyday from here - but when i imagine i am going to miss seeing the sunset or sunrise from a better elevated area then i feel sad.

On a positive note, i still hope i can see the sunset and sunrise again from other locations - like the beach! the mountain top! or ...any places when i can.

It's the boss birthday and everytime he celebrates it in the office there would always be ice cream. See the ladies, can't almost wait for their turn. They ladies who are on diet. They didn't eat much of the bread and pancit but surely they can eat multiple cones of ice cream. lol!

Ako ay sigurado kung alam ninyo kung ano ito ang nasa larawan ng aking lahok. Sa mga bagay na ganyan, ang kulay talaga nila ay pula at merong maliit na button na merong takip. at ang hugis nila ay bilog. Nakita ko sa TV na pag pinindot yan, iingay ang buong gusali at mag takbohan mga tao palabas ng gusali.

Ang larawan na ito ay kuha ko sa aming dormitory. Minsan iniisip ko kung ano kaya ang mangyayari if pindutin ko yan. Gusto ko malaman kung iingay ba sya at if iingay nga at magtakbohan ang mga tao sa Annex building. Baka makapatay pa ako ng mga pasyente dahil sila ay nag panick. Ano kaya mangyayari sa akin.

Sana mag fire drill kami at pwede akong mag volunteer na taga-pindot dyan.

I took this shot as i was approaching the coffin for the last viewing. On my right hand is my camera and on my left hand is a pink daisy. It was a touching moment. After dropping the flower, the next in line is to console the immediate family. That was the last viewing then the casket was closed. At the burial site, it will not be opened anymore.

We arrived there late afternoon so we had the chance to view Pastor LT minus the crowd. The front is filled with white flowers by the Flowers Unlimitted. The wreathes given by friends were placed to the far left and far right of the coffin. Those white flowers are all fresh.

Long ago, while the Bangkok tour was still months away, i felt a bit bad knowing i can't go. I was alone in the office when the Bangkok tour and local tour went on. I was a little sad. But when they were back, i it was so heartwarming to see that some did have some "i thought of you" something for those who were left behind and am one of them. I also got a bag from a dear friend who is already working there.

Ang aking lahok ay litrato ng mga plastik na bote na makikita mo sa aking opisina. Dalawa sa aking lamesa at merong isa sa gilid ng computer. Ang mga ito ay paalala na ako ay iinum ng tubig palagi. Sa ganito, maubos ko ang dalawang litro or more sa isang araw.

Meron kaming water dispenser sa loob pero minsan sa dami ng trabaho malimutan kung tumayo para pumunta sa loob para uminum.

Sa ganitong paraan wala akong dahilan para di maka inum ng tubig sa isang araw. Minsan pag wala akong sariling water dispenser sa aking mesa, isang baso lang na tubig ang mainum ko sa isang araw which i think is very very bad.
