Isa ito sa mga paborito ko na pagkain sa Pilipino. Isa ito sa mga desserts na inihanda kung merong okasyon at ito ay pinakamasarap kung ito ay siniserve na malamig pero hindi yelo. Sino sa inyo dyan and hindi mahilig kumain sa Maja? Kung love mo ang maja hali ka luto tayo!

Maja Blanca is one of my favorite Filipino food. This is one of the desserts commonly prepared in any gatherings or occasions. Best served when chilled or cold but not frozen or iced. Who among you do not love Maja? If you love this, come and help me cook!

LP - Malapot (Thick, Stiff)

Maligayang Huwebes sa lahat!

Ito ay fresh lumpia at snack namin ito noong MBS 4 sa Zamboanga City. Masarap ang sauce pero ang laman di masyado. Masarap ang sauce pero hindi sya masyadong malapot pero napakasarap. Dahil ito ay masarap kunti lang ibinigay. Kulang lang para sa isang malaki na fresh lumpia.

Fresh lumpia with sauce. The sauce is worth dying for. The lumpia? Hmmm never mind. lol! We had this as our afternoon snacks during the MBS 4 in Zamboanga City.

LP - Manipis (Thin)

Maligayang Huwebes sa lahat! Ang bilis ng panahon at ito naman ang pinakahuli na Huwebes sa buwan ng Oktobre.

Ang aking lahok sa araw na ito ay isang layer ng chocolate cake ni Dobbie. Dahil birthday niya, binisita sya ng kanyang mama noong Sunday at dinalhan siya ng cake at lechon manok. Dinagdagan niya ang lechon at inimbita nya lahat roommates niya at ung mga former roommates niya na nakatira na sa labas, at ilan sa mga kaibigan nya na mga lalakwe. Sa aming kusina sila kumain kaya naimbita din kami ni Mam Jaydee.

Ang cake na ito ay kinain sa pinakahuli na banda. Dahil maliit lang ang cake pero lahat ay nakakain ng manipis na slice. Just enough to taste the sweetness.

Pero para sa akin at iba dyan na malaki at mataas na ang level ng sugar, dapat ay sobrang manipis lang ang kainin nito or kung pwede hindi na kakain ng mga pagkain na ganito.

Am glad to join the wagon this week. Sorry for missing a couple of weeks.

Here's my entry for the theme:

Kung tanungin nila ako kung ano ang gusto ko kainin sa oras na ito - sabihin ko talaga ALL OF THE ABOVE! Pero kung dalawa lang ang pwede na choices so CHICn'fILLET at ang CRISPY FRIES. Pwede dalawang serving ng fries?

Pero alam ko naman na kahit anong wish ko nito ay di matupad dahil walang KFC outlet dito sa lugar namin. Kung gustuhin ko talaga gagastos muna akong ng 200 hundred pesos pamasahe para makain ko ang burger and frice na yan.

Hmm lalo na akong nagugutom habang ginagawa ko ang post na ito.

Hong Kong Noodles

Someone brought me to a noodle house last Thursday evening for dinner. Right away i craved for chinese food but they don't have much of it (the choices of menu) except for this dish they call - Hong Kong Noodles.

Oh well, the place (TNT) is cute and cozy but that noodle food is not something dying for. I'd rather have the Nova or the Potato Rings. :)

It is Saturday and this food was prepared for a potluck with the Baccalaureate Speaker of the S'envoler Class - Elder Aner A. Tero. There was so much food that we also ate this for dinner. -

It's the end of the week and the Week of Spiritual emphasis also ended. Per tradition we have this potluck Saturday lunch time. And the dish am posting here is one of the foods we prepared.

LP - Makapal (Thick)

Hindi ako masyado kumakain ng Biko pero alam ko na super masarap sya dahil ito ay matamis. Mag enjoy ako ng biko pag ito ay malamig at kunti nalang ang natiral. Gusto ko din na hindi makapal ang latik. Kung makapal man ang latik ayaw ko ang makapal na hiwa. Merong amoy ang biko na maka induce sa akin ng kabusogan at dala ang feeling ng pagkahilo.

I love Biko but not very much. I like it cold and in very small servings. I don't like the "latik" toppings and if ever there is that "latik" then i just like to taste a spoonful only. Biko got a smell that just by smelling it i would right away feel full especially if i can see a big tray full of it.
