LP - Liwasan (Park)

Sa mga mahilig mag adventure, ang parke o liwasan na ito ay para sa inyo. Di naman ako masyadong adbenturer pero na enjoy pa rin ako dito dahil sa mga magaganda na tanawin.

Kung ang nasa litrato na ito ay hilig nyo bisitahin nyo ang Dahilayan Adventure Zone na matatagpuan sa Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Halos lahat na tao pupunta dito ay mag "zip-lining". Kung tanungin nyo ako kung nakazipline ba ako, ang aking sagot ay "oo" pero hindi ang "superman" style. Nag enjoy din akong mag zipline na naka upo. Kaso lang wala akong kasabay dahil sa timbang ko hindi pwede tig-dadalawa. =) Merong isang kasama na nag komento na "na miss ko raw kalahati na ng aking buhay" dahil di ako nag superman zip -- sabi ko, no problem. Meron pang next time.

Alam ko dapat ko lang tinalo ang aking takot pero alam ko rin na yong sitting down style pa lang ang kakayanin ko. Meron kasi akong fear of heights. Si KC Conception merong fear of heights din pero alam kung ginawa nya lahat ang mga adventures na nasa litrato. Eh hindi naman ako si KC eh. Magka iba iba ang tao. Mabuti nalang ang timbang ko ay qualified pa sa required na timbang -kaya nag zip din ako. Alam ko walang nabawas sa aking buhay dahil naka pag zip pa rin naman ako.

LP - Private {Pribado}

Magandang Huwebes sa lahat!

Ang mga litrato na lahok ko ngayon ay magbigay sa inyo ng sulyap kung ano ang itsura at laman sa bagong pribado (private) na kuarto sa Mindanao Sanitarium at Hospital. Ito ay makita sa ikatlong palapag ng Annex building.

Isa ito sa mga yellow rooms. I think the best room especially at dusk. Sa isang kuarto ay merong dalawang kama, telepono, TV na merong cable connection, a visitor's bench and center table, at ref. Oh merong din syang CR. :) Feel ko hotel room na sya. Lahat na kuarto ay airconditioned. Sa ngayon ang rate ng isang kuarto ay 2,100.00 sa isang araw. Mahal pero comportable naman.

62/365 - Sunrise {April 29, 2010}

For the past months, i took me sometime to get out of bed at 5;30 in the morning to ring the buzzer and go out to each rooms of the girls to wake them up for worship. But for the past weeks, i discovered that at 5:35 to 5:45, the sunrise looks so inspiring that i look up to that every morning.

Soon we will move out of this place and move to the old dormitory and surely i will miss the great sunset and sunrise view from the 4th floor of the Annex Building.

The crowd during the 14th Commencement Exercises of Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital College. The venue was at the La Salle Academy Gym. Dr. B. C. Lleno of CHED, Region X graced the ocassion.

A REMINDER

I pass by this corner everyday since i move into the dormitory in November 2009. What moved me to take a shot of this on Friday was the plants added to that spot. :) It made the corner friendlier.

LP - Regalo {Gift}

GIVE A HEART

Ang GIVE A HEART (Bigay ng Puso) ay isang tradition na ginagawa ng MSH at MSHC tuwing pasko. Kaya masaya ako ng malaman ko na ang tema ngayong linggo ay REGALO dahil meron akong mga litrato ng mga regalo na kuha ko noong Desyembre 13.

Napakasaya ang gabi na yon at alam ko na ang mga kapatid namin sa iba't ibang barangay ay naging masaya na mahawakan nila ang kanilang mga regalo na bigay namin.

It's been a tradition of the Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital and College for the past three years to give a heart. We celebrate Christmas party together with Thanksgiving (November) and it is at this time that we have to bring our gift. (Gift from the heart)

The gift has varied contents. There are can foods, biscuits, bar soaps, noodles, and or used clothes or other necessities. This year we collected the gifts on a Sunday evening then the schedule for distribution to some barangays was done on the Tuesday and Thursday after.

These are some of the gifts received that night from the workers.

Here's Ma'am Ruby with her gift. Lucky her she remembered to bring a gift. My weekend was full of activity that time so i forgot to bring mine. Good thing we can go in even we don't have a gift.

That was a fun night because it was a 3-in-one program. Thankgiving, Culmination, and Christmas Party. We gave a gift and at the same time all workers got a gift in form of money (bonus for the regular workers) and material gifts (for the contractuals) Since it was a culmination for the Hugyawan 2009, our group bagged the second prize and here is our gift:

a 20 Thousand Pesos cash prize!

Christmas'09 Decoration Contest Entry

The Hugyawan 2009 launched a Christmas Decoration Contest by Department. Days after the announcement we made our manger and christmas tree. But as the days went by, more and more ideas came into reality. The final judging will be tomorrow and these are our entries to the contest:

All entries should at be made at least 80% from materials found in their respective departments. We used here the student's thesis submitted to the Academic Dean's Office.

I want to go around the hospital floors later tonight to check out their entries. Hope to see them lighted. I know they are very eye catching, too.

I will announced the winners maybe on Ruby Tuesday next week. :)
